Our Summer Holidays
We had so much fun these summer holidays we our family and friends. We used our senses to describe one of our favourite things we did this summer. Have a read of our awesome writing below:

New Cricket Bats!
Wow we are so lucky! We had two guys come to our school from Auckland Cricket. They taught us some new cricket skills and they gave us a bat and ball that we got to take home and keep. We had the best time. Have a look at the photos of us enjoying our new cricket bats.
Art
We have been learning about blending colours. We used paint to do the backgrounds of our ice creams and pastels to colour in our ice creams. We all chose colour for our ice cream scoops that were some of our favourite flavours.
Basketball
We have been having so much fun learning new skills to help us play basketball. We have been learning how to dribble the ball, how to do different passes and we have been practicing shooting hoops.
Start of the Year
We have had an amazing start to the Year this year. We have done lots of fun acitivites to get to know each other and build a great classroom culture. We have had so much fun this year all ready. We all look forward to the exciting year ahead. Here is a few photos of some of the things that we have done so far.
